WHY WE LOVE THIS VENUE: Situated in the mountains in Norway, Maine, Granite Ridge Estate and Barn is practically the definition of rustic chic. The estate lodge and barn are both handcrafted with timber frame construction and the barn contains dazzling chandeliers that hang from the 28 foot high cathedral ceiling. Granite Ridge even had a full page feature in Maine Magazine’s 2015 Wedding Issue as the #3 venue on the A-List.
Granite Ridge has all of the amenities you could dream of. The lodge contains a hot tub, granite fireplace, mountain views and enough room to sleep 15 people, which makes this the perfect weekend getaway for your dreamy Maine wedding. To say the barn is impressive is an understatement. There is room for seating for up to 200 people and a whole wall of windows that shed light on the entirety of the large room.
This really is the perfect spot for your rustic barn wedding. One thing that makes this venue particularly enjoyable for couples is their “one couple at a time” philosophy. Granite Ridge encourages people to arrive early and to stay the whole weekend so that the experience is as relaxing as possible. There’s no being whisked away to make room for more clients – they really take care of people one at a time.
