On June 28, downtown Saco will be transformed into an outdoor gallery of art. This is the 38th year for the Saco Sidewalk Art Festival, always held the last Saturday in June to coincide with the La Kermesse Festival in Biddeford. The Art Festival features the work of over one hundred artists who display a variety of artwork, sculpture and photography. They are joined by a group of select craftspeople who offer everything from jewelry to pottery and add to the festivities with their unique creations.
Art Festival hours are 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Artists will be lined up on both sides of Main Street covering several blocks of the downtown area, including Pepperell Square. Stop by the ‘Elephant on your way through town and say hello. We’ll be open from 8am-4pm, serving breakfast, lunch, and opinions.
