Blue Elephant had the pleasure of catering the dinner for the graduating Residents at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. This was the last year for the program, and we wish all of the staff and students the best in the future. We enjoyed working with you this year and last year.
Blue Elephant headed north last weekend to cater a wedding reception in Lincolnville, ME (just north of Camden) at the Ducktrap Retreat. Along with other vendors, we greeted participants in Payson Park, before and after the walk along beautiful Back Cove Trail, in Portland. The boys at the Blue Elephant and 200 other people enjoyed the HOB “Secret Spaces, Historic Spaces” tour of Biddeford on June 6th! Congratulation to HOB for pulling off this complicated tour, and thanks for showing us all around! The photos above are from stops at the Odd Fellows Ballroom and Reny’s Building Ampitheater on Alfred Street, City Hall and City Theater, and the river waterworks far below the Lincoln Mill. The tour was followed by dancing and live and silent auctions. Good stuff!

Earlier this month, Fausto and Reuben joined other local merchants and friends in saying goodbye to The Field Mouse. Owners Chet and Mike decided to close the doors of their gift shop on May 31, after 7 years of residence on Pepperell Square. The Field Mouse and Chet and Mike will be sorely missed on the square, and we wish them the very best in their new endeavors.
